Tryon, NC – May 14, 2008 – Synergy Point, an interactive website design firm, won the
"Best of the Mountains" award from the Public Relations Association of Western North
Carolina (PRAWNC) in the categories of On-line marketing, for the fifth consecutive
year.
Synergy Point won the award for, www.EdistoRealty.com. Edisto is an attractive, coastal
town in South Carolina and Synergy Point played on the "beach vacation theme" for
page layout and elements. Past wins have included websites for Chimney Rock, Tryon
Arts Center and Mountain Housing Opportunities.
The objective of the Public Service/Advocacy “Alexander’s Ford” campaign was to help
create awareness in preserving an historic Revolutionary War site and to raise $650,000
to purchase the land within 18 months. The campaign, which required the creation of
branding materials, a logo, and a brochure, also features a short video focusing on the
historical importance and the future impact of the project.
